Sage
Today had been a long, tiring day. Not necessarily because of work, but because of my mom. She had finally convinced me to go and show off the ring to announce to the public I was engaged. It's not that I didn't want people to know Connor and I were getting married, its just that I had made sure all of our close friends and family knew first. My mom had set up an appointment for me to get my hair and nails done, which was ridiculous but I did it. Instead of getting the nice blowout curls like she wanted me to, I decided to just chop it off to my shoulders. It felt good to have the change, especially now when everything was changing. It felt like seconds after I started walking to work the paparazzi were freaking out and asking me a million questions about the ring. I just nodded with a smile and told them how happy we were then went to work. After several hours of recording, I went to a small cafe for lunch with Connor. It felt like forever since we had alone time, and we both needed a little break.

Connor
I finally got a break from work. For now I was working back at the TV show until I found something better. I was glad to get to go get lunch, alone, with Sage. I walked in and looked around for her. I was surprised when I saw her. "Hey. Wow.. Your hair is short." I said. I leaned over and gave her a kiss." You look beautiful." I said.

I smiled. "Thanks. I mostly just did it to annoy my mom." I joked with a laugh. "How's work going? Have the paparazzi been following you around?"

Connor
"I'm pretty good at dodging them and staying invisible." I admitted.

Sage
I squinted jokingly then chuckled. "You need to give me lessons." I teased. A waitress came and I ordered a mimosa. "Now tell me about work."

[Tori]

Connor
I shrugged. "The same as it has been in the past. Just getting yelled at to do really insignificant tasks." I said.

Sage
I sighed and held his hand under the table. "I'm sorry." I said. "But you'll find something, I know you will. You're too smart to pass up on." I teased.

[Tori]

Connor
"Thanks." I said. "How has recording been going?" I asked to change the subject. The truth was I had been offered a massive job, but I wasn't even considering it because it was so far away so I didn't even want to mention it.

Sage
"It's been great." I said happily. "We'll probably be done in about a week. Then I start filming for the next Justice League movie. It's going to be in New York so I don't need to leave." I said excitedly.

Connor
I smiled. "Good. I'm glad you'll be here." I said.

Sage
"Me too." I said happily. "What time do you have to go back to work?"

[Tori]

Connor
"I have an hour." I told her.

Sage
I nodded and took a bite of my meal. "How's the show going anyways? I haven't watched it since I quit."

[Tori]

Connor
I shrugged. "It's good. Not nearly as good as when you were there." I admitted.

Sage
I smiled. "Yeah that was fun getting to work together." We finished our meal and got the check. "Do you want to do something before work?"
