I felt bad. He didn't seem happy at all and I was worried he was going to get depressed or something. We stopped at work and I sighed, kissing his cheek. "Well, try to have a good day. Here." I handed him the rest of the popcorn with a soft smile.

I said goodbye and went back home. I hung out with my mom until Alice came home. I promised her we would do something fun together this week, so I brought her and a few of her new friends to a cool sushi place. It was actually really fun, just to relax. I also liked seeing Alice having fun and just relaxing for a while. We dropped off her friends and then went home. I found Mason sitting on the couch. "Hey." I said, sitting next to him. I held up a to go box. "I got you food."
