I couldn't help but cry for multiple reasons. The pain meds began to set in a few minutes later and the bleeding eventually stopped. I was exhausted and eventually fell asleep but not before whispering "I'm sorry." again to Lucas.

Lucas Even while she was asleep, I continued to hold her hand. I allowed myself to lose it a little bit and basically went through all of the tissues on the table as she slept and the nurse cleaned her up and put her into a fresh hospital gown. By the time she woke up, I had stopped crying but my eyes felt red and swollen. ooc made a post!  |

I woke up afraid of what I would wake up to. I looked around and saw that everything was clean, but then I locked eyes with Lucas and tears instantly resurfaced. "Lucas what happened? What did I do wrong?" I asked softly.

"I'm sorry. I didn't think this would ever happen." I whispered. I reached for a tissue but they were all gone. I looked up at him and squeezed his hand.

I took a tissue and wiped my tears then blew my nose. "I'm sore and it feels like theres a lot of pressure." I said. I locked eyes with him again and mumbled. "The baby's really gone?"
