I nodded and went back into the bathroom to get the test. I walked back out and handed it to Lucas. "It's positive." I said, smiling.

"It is?!" I took it from her to look at it myself. I grinned. "We're gunna have a baby." I said, wiping the tears from my eyes. I pulled her close and then put my hand on her stomach. "Hi, baby. It's your daddy." I said softly, giving Ro another kiss.

I painted for a couple hours and actually got a lot done before leaving for the night. Before going home, I stopped at a nearby restaurant and picked up Ro's favorites- a chocolate milkshake and some fries. "I brought food." I said as I walked in the door. Ro must have picked Iris up from daycare. "Hi, sweetie. Or should I say big sister." I kissed her cheek and she grinned.
