After work today Rowan, Iris and I were going to go visit my mom. I was a little nervous- I didn't know how my mom would react to Iris. Once I got off of work, I walked to Iris daycare and picked her up then waited for Rowan to get off of work downstairs.

I gave Lucas a quick kiss on the cheek. "And hello beautiful." I said, taking Iris from him and kissing her nose. She smiled and giggled at me. |

I nodded. I was a little bit nervous about taking Iris on the subway but we would be okay. "Alright, let's go." I said.

I carried the stroller carefully down to the subway. Once we got on, I sat down and made sure Iris was ok before the train started. "How was work?" I asked her.

I bit my lip. "But I'm still not his favorite person. I'll figure it out myself." I promised. We arrived at our stop and I got off with Iris and her stroller.

We headed towards my mom's building. "I don't know how she'll react to Iris. She hasn't been around a baby in years I think." I admitted. "But I do know that Iris is safe, and she won't get hurt." I promised.

"I know. I just wanted to make sure you didn't worry." I said. We walked into the building and signed in, then went to my moms room. I gently knocked on the door then went in. "Hey mom." I gave her a hug and kiss. "Do you remember Rowan?" I asked. She nodded softly and I smiled, sitting on the couch next to her. "This is Iris." I said, picking her up out of the stroller.
