I spent the rest of the afternoon cleaning up, then I decided to make Rowan a nice dinner. She had been working so hard lately and deserved the best.

I got up when Iris started to cry. I changed her then walked out to Lucas in the kitchen. "What are you doing?" I asked, sitting down to feed Iris.
