My mom looked at her for a second and then smiled softly. I was relieved she was happy. Gently she stroked her head. "She looks like you both." She said softly. I was surprised that she could tell Iris was our daughter. I nodded.

Iris made a face and yawned. My mom smiled softly. "Lucas you used to do that." She said. I chuckled. She gave Rowan back to Iris and went into a drawer, pulling out some pictures of when I was little.

I chuckled softly. "I can't believe you kept those." I said. She nodded and I checked the time. she went down to dinner soon. "We better go soon, but we'll come back." I promised

I pulled Lucas off to the side. "Is it possible to take her out to dinner? Maybe even back to my place? It's quiet there." I asked in a whisper.
