I sighed and went back to the lasagna. My mom texted me that she had a headache and wasn't hungry, so just the three of us ate. "So how's school?" I asked Alice, trying to forget about the job.

"I've been looking at other schools. Don't get me wrong the school now is great but I just feel out of place. I found this boarding school in Connecticut called Canterwood Crest. It's a really great school and i would be in an environment more like home." I said.

I nodded slowly. "I think it sounds nice for you, but I want to look into it for myself first." I said.

I squeezed his hand. For the rest of dinner Alice talked about the school. But once we took our last bite, I quickly washed the dishes so I could talk to Connor about his job.
