I smiled and kissed his cheek. We looked at the flowers and I pointed at some white ones. "Those are pretty." I said, knowing the theme my mom had in mind.

My mom nodded. "Those would be nice." She said. "I picked out a few dresses for you Sage. They're in the back..." She sent a worker to go back and grab them. They were basically stalking us around the store. I think they all wanted to be apart of our wedding for publicity.

I laughed and went back to my mom. She handed me a pile of dresses. "Try these on." I went to the back room and tried the first one on. It was huge with sparkles and a corset. I felt like I could barely move. "Mom. Are they all like this?" I asked. "I look like a cupcake." I said. My mom didn't respond, meaning that they were all this big. I sighed and went to the back, still wearing the dress. I picked out a couple and brought them with me. She refused to even try to like the first few dresses because they were unique. I was starting to feel frustrated, but then I came out in the next dress. My mom smiled. "I love it." She said, actually wiping tears. I smiled and looked in the mirror. "Me too." I said softly. She came up with a smile and gave me a hug. "I'm sorry, sage... We don't need this big wedding if you don't want it." She said softly. I smiled. "How about we compromise. Instead of eloping like I want and a huge wedding like you want, we can have a small wedding in California." I said. She nodded with a smile and I squeezed her hand. "Let's go find Connor." I said happily.
