I woke up after him and put on a pair of sweats and one of his hoodies. "Hey. What are you making?" My mom already had bridal magazines everywhere. I rolled my eyes.

I nodded and just a second later she came out. She smiled and kissed my cheek. "Oh, hello dear. I was just looking through these magazines and thought this type of dress would look gorgeous on you..." She flipped to a page and I looked with a nod, trying to seem interested.

"Just veggies." She said quickly, looking back at a picture. "You should get on finding a maid of honor. Maybe ask that girl who was also on your show- what's her name?" She tried to think but I shook my head. "I was thinking of asking Alice." She looked at me confused. "Connors sister." I reminded her. She thought and nodded. "Oh. I guess that would work." She said.

I sighed and made to omelettes with just veggies. "Breakfast's ready." I said setting them on the table.

I took a few bites then checked the time. "Oh, I have to go to work. Thanks for breakfast." I quickly leaned over and gave Connor a kiss then grabbed my coat.
