I decided to give my mom a tour. So we walked around and I let her rest in the guest room while I made dinner.

"I think I'm going to go back to my old job this week and look for something new." I said. Alice came down and sat down at the table. "Uhh hi I'm alice." She said to sages mom.

"It's nice to meet you, sweetie." She said. She turned back to me, forgetting about Alice. I felt bad. "So when are you planning on having the wedding?" She asked. I shrugged and took a bite. "We haven't really thought about it."

I nodded. "Well how about you do something in California." She said, not really suggested. "We could rent out the nice Sheraton hotel downtown." She said excitedly. I hesitated. "We were just thinking something small." I said. "How small?" She asked. "Like... Just us. Maybe Alice and you guys too." I said. She seemed horrified.
