I chuckled softly. "I'm going to go talk to her. Convince her." I said. I walked over to the guest room and found my mom on the bed. Surprisingly, she was crying. I sat on the bed and frowned. "What's wrong?" I asked softly. She quickly wiped her tears. "It's just that you're growing up and getting married... I always dreamed of this day and wanted it to be so special for you. I just want to do something for you and Connor who love each other and not think about the divorce." She said quietly. I nodded and knew what I had to do. "We can have the wedding, mom." I said. She sat up with her widened eyes. "Really? It's what you two want?" She asked. I nodded. "Yeah. It will be fun." I promised, putting on a smile. She smiled and gave me a hug. I went back downstairs to Connor.
