We hurried back to the apartment and sat down. I waited until Iris was calmed down. "So how often do you meet with that group?" I asked. I had kind of forgotten all about the incident.

"A few times a week or whenever we can or need each other." I told him. I put Iris down in her crib and went back out to Lucas. "Can I get you something to eat?" i asked, going to the kitchen to make some lunch.

I shook my head. "I work when I can from home for my dad and I still work with my charity. Just because I have a child doesn't mean I can forget the other children." I said. "But I haven't modeled since I had Iris. I don't know If I'll be able to model again." I said with a shrug.

"You definitely could if you wanted." I assured her. "But it makes sense if you're too busy." I paused. "Can you let me know if you hear of any openings in the company? I could work in security or something small like that. But don't make a place for me, just if there's an opening." I added. I hated asking her for job help but I was getting desperate.

I shrugged. "Health reasons. Plus if the mayor decides to release to the press that I'm his son, I'd be too much in the spotlight. It's just too risky." I said, changing the subject.

"My health is the least of my concerns right now." I said. "I just want a way to take care of Iris. The FBI said I could get an office job from them but that would mean I'd have to move to DC and I wanted to stay here for her." I admitted.
