"You're her father. That is everything." I said. After I finished feeding her and burped her she fell asleep. "I'm going to go put her down." I said.

I nodded softly and followed her slowly into the nursery, looking around curiously. I found a picture of Iris and Rowan and a bunch of other women and babies. "Who are they?" I asked softly.

"Oh just a thing I joined that helps single mothers figure out parenting." I said. I laid Iris down and turned on the mobile above her crib.

I shrugged. "I figured it out." I said softly, leaving the nursery and going back out to the kitchen. "Do you want something to drink?" I asked, changing the subject.

I followed her out. "Just some water." I almost tripped but grabbed the counter in time so I didn't. I hated being this weak.
