I sighed, knowing I had to respect her, but wanted so badly to explain. "Ok. Well you can wait here or back at your apartment. Your dad should be released in about 20 minutes."

I nodded and walked over to a couch, that was in the warehouse. I sat down and waited, sitting very still and staring blankly at the wall.

I went to where they were talking to her dad and got them to release him early because it was late. Then I walked him over to Rowan. I thought he would be mad at me for dating Rowan, but to my surprise he extended his hand to shake mine. I guess he was happy that I got him out of this mess. "Um you guys are free to go. But we might need you to answer more questions in the morning."

I got up and hugged my dad. "Come on dad." I said. I wrapped my arm around him and lead him away. Halfway out I looked over my shoulder and shook my head at Fi... Lucas.

I bit my lip hard and one of the agents put his hand on my shoulder. I was glad he didn't make fun of me. Instead, he told me that they could finish up here and I could go home and rest. I nodded and went back to my apartment. I laid on the bed with a sigh, but didn't fall asleep.

I took my dad up to my place and got him set up in the guest bedroom. Before I left the room he stopped me. "Ro.." i turned around to face him and he patted the spot on the bed next to him. I sat down and he wrapped his arms around me, a thing he did very rarely, and I broke down. "I know you're mad at him and you have every right to be but he did save our lives." He said. "He used me dad. Just like every other guy but this time for something bigger. I know he saved us and for that I am thankful, but I don't even know who this guy is now." I whispered. We sat together for a while longer but it was getting late and we both needed sleep. I left him in the guest room and went to my room. I laid on my bed, staring at the ceiling but never fell asleep.

I laid in my bed until 10, wishing I could go talk to her. Then I realized I cared too much about her to never talk to her again. I got up and showered, then went to the grocery store. I bought the ingredients for Rosemary chicken and potatoes; her favorite meal. Along with that I made some lemon bars. At around noon, I went to the building to bring it to her. The guys at the door weren't going to let me in, but I flashed my badge and they reluctantly opened them. Perks of working for the FBI. Nervously, I went to her door and knocked.

I was watching TV with my dad when there was a knock on the door. I looked at my dad who had fallen asleep then went to open the door. I opened the door and found Lucas standing there. "You need to leave." I said.

"Rowan, please." I begged. "I care too much about you to never talk to you again. I want you to know who I really am... Please. I think that Lucas is better than Finn." I paused. "Ok, maybe that's not true. But please give me a chance. I brought food." I held up the box.

"I really don't care." I said. That's when my dad came out from the living room. He nodded at Lucas. "You two should talk." He said mostly looking at me. I opened my mouth to say something but my dad just left and shut the door behind us. I sighed. "I really don't want to hear it Fin... Lucas. Who ever you are."

I sighed. "Please, Ro... You can ask me whatever you want." I pleaded with her softly. I didn't want it to end like this. If she knew the real me and hated me, then it could be over and I'd leave.
