It had been almost 3 weeks since I left for Vermont. While it was nice to be away from all the drama and pressure at home, it was starting to get lonely. Basically, my only friend was a stray cat that slept on the porch and I fed every morning. Cisco was worried about someone tracking my phone, so I hadn't even talked to Connor. I missed him like crazy. Bored, I decided to take Connors bike into town and get some groceries I wore a t shirt, jean shorts, and a hat to cover my face. With that, barely any makeup, and my glasses, no one had recognized me the whole time I've been there. As I walked up to the store, I noticed a deserted phone booth. I slowly stepped in and picked up the receiver to see if it worked. To my surprise, it did. After Wiping of the dust , I put in a few quarters in and dialed Connors number. "Please answer." I muttured to myself. Never had I wanted to talk to him more than now.
