I shook my head. "I've been in Germany. I just got back today. Her mom was here from California." I said with a shrug. "But She didn't go anywhere." I said.

I sat down in the chair next to her bed. "Oh Sage, what happened." I whispered.

I slowly opened my eyes, then realized I wasnt at home or in bed. "What's going on?" I asked softly, looking around.

I got up and gently stroked her cheek. "Shh.. You're at the hospital. The nurse will be in soon to talk to you." I said.

"Are we at a hospital? Why?" I asked, sitting up. But it made me feel dizzy so I slowly went back down. I grimaced. "My head hurts." I said softly.

"You passed out at home on the stairs and cut cut your head. They had to put a few staples in." I said.

"Oh." I whispered, closing my eyes. But a minute later the nurse came back. When she saw me open my eyes she smiled. "You're up. I need to ask you some questions...." She glanced over at Connor. "Do you want him to leave?" She asked. I shook my head. She asked me a few obscure questions, which I obviously never did. "Did you have physical contact with anyone else this week?" She asked. I hesitated and glanced over st Connor. "Well... Yeah. It was for work." I added quickly.

"I had to kiss him! It was part of the role." I said. She cleared her throat. "And he was out of the country earlier this week. Could he be carrying a virus?" I worried. The nurse nodded. "You should contact him." She added.
