"She's not acting sick though." I sighed. "Sorry we're supposed to be relaxing. Why don't we go back to your place and watch a movie." I suggested.

I agreed and sat down to watch for him, it wasn't long before my lack of sleep caught up to me. I fought to stay awake for a little while but in the end I fell asleep, first leaning my head on Lucas's shoulder but eventually laying out o the couch with my head resting in Lucas's lap, without even realizing I had done it.

I smiled softly and leaned over, gently kissing her cheek. I smiled when I felt her move. "Do you want to move to the bed? You'll be comfiier there." I whispered. "I don't think my prosthetic is a comfy pillow," I added jokingly.

I smiled softly and gently ran my fingers through her hair. I wanted to let her sleep for a while, but I also knew she needed to go get back before morning or her dad would hate me even more.

I shifted and woke myself partway up but stayed where I was with my eyes closed. "I should really get back to get Iris." I whispered sleepily.

"Yeah." I said softly. She deserved to sleep, and I should do this alone. I gently kissed her head before grabbing my coat and leaving. The whole walk there I felt good, but the nerves set in when I knocked on his front door.

I heard the door knock and guessed it was Rowan picking up Iris so I got up to get it. It was late so I guessed she had a good time. I opened the door and standing before me was Lucas. My first instinct was to punch him in the face but then I remembered he was an FBI agent. I clenched my fists by my side. "Your back." I huffed. "Tell me you aren't the guy Rowan went out with tonight?" I snapped, standing in the doorway so he couldn't come in.
