It had been a few weeks since I got home, and things were finally starting to look up. I got a job with a contracting business. It was part desk work, which I hated, and other part in the warehouse. It could be boring, but it was a start. I also just got a new apartment. It was small, but big enough for me. I also got an old crib and put it in there. The best part was that it was only a block away from Iris and Rowan. Speaking of them, they were coming over soon. Quickly, I finished cleaning up.

Rowan www.polyvore.com/casual_cute/set?id=184390241I was excited to see Lucas's new place but more excited to see Lucas. I walked there with Iris in her stroller then took the elevator up, thankful that there was an elevator here. I found Lucas's apartment and stopped in front of it before knocking on the door. "Are you ready to see daddy?" I asked Iris as we waited. |

I went to the door and opened it with a smile. "Hey." I said happily, moving over so she could push the stroller in. "You look pretty." I said. I bend over to see Iris and smiled. "Hi, sweetie." She smiled and I chuckled.

I took a deep breath. "So yeah, this is it." I said. We were in a small kitchen and living room. In there is the bedroom and right there the bathroom. Not much to see." I chuckled. "But I do have a crib for Iris."

I nodded. "Well have a seat. I have snacks if you want some." I said, getting some fruit from the fridge. I gently took Iris out of her arms and sat on the couch. "And how are you?" I asked. She didn't respond but I smiled.

I yawned. "She wouldn't sleep at all last night. It was like I was up every hour for something." I said, taking an apple and taking a bite.

"It's been going good. I think I'm starting to get the hang of it." I said. "Once I'm able to walk better I'm hoping I can find something different though."
