Mason
A couple days had past since Mary and her husband had run away with our baby. I hadn't slept at all the past few nights. I cried secretly when Campbell wasn't around, trying to be the strong one. I was sitting at my desk going though the motions of work when I got a phone call. "What is it?" I asked, not really caring. "We've got them." The voice said. I sat up. "Officer Coleson?" I asked. "Yes. We have them in custody. and the baby is fine." "Where are you? We'll be down on the next flight. "The border of Mexico. We caught them just before they crossed." I got all of the information then hung up and got up. "I have to go." I told one of the guys. "They found our baby." I left and went straight home to Campbell. "Campbell!!" I shouted loudly.

I was sitting on the couch, doing some work, when Mason came in. I looked up and closed my laptop. "Hey. What's up?" I asked, looking at him. He usually wasn't home that early.

I took a deep breath. "They found them." I said. I went to get my laptop to find a flight. "Come on, we have to go." I said.

My heart leapt. "Where? Is the baby ok?" I asked nervously, grabbing a couple bags to pack. Hunter whimpered so I patted his head. "Don't worry buddy. You're going back to Shelley's house." I said, who was my coworker who loved dogs.

"Let's go." I said, grabbing my purse. I texted Shelley to please come grab Hunter and we left, not even packing bags. "So what else do you know?" I asked him in the car.

I basically had to run to catch up with him, but we made it to our plane on time. We sat down in the way back. "So will they be in Texas until the baby is born? Or will they be moved to New York?" I asked.
