"It's a surprise, we're almost there." I said. I dragged him down a few more streets until we got to the bakery. I walked right in with Tank knowing they wouldn't mind him in here. I saw one of the workers who was also one of my really good friends. "Hey Elina." I said smiling. "Ro!" She said excitedly. "Nellie! Rowan is here!" She called to the back. I laughed and less than a minute later, the kind hearted, older women came scurrying out of the back. She enveloped me in a hug and squeezed me tightly, before stepping back and noticing Lucas. "Ohh.. Well who is this?" She asked, smirking. I laughed lightly. "Nellie this is Lucas." I told her.

She ignored his hand and gave him a hug. "Well go sit down and I'll be over with some samples." She said. I nodded and dragged Lucas over to my favorite table in the back corner.

"This is my mom's work. She invested her time and money into Nellie and her business and helped her get to here. She would take me here a lot when I was little. Nellie is like a grandmother to me." I told him honestly.
