After finished my load of homework, I was STARVING. I asked my roommate to go with me, but he was still working. Alone, I got myself some lasagna, bread, and soda then sat at a small table.

I grabbed a book and headed out. As I passed the cafeteria, I back tracked and decided I was hungry. I walked in and bought a sandwich and a cookie. I sat down at a table, not caring that I was a lone. I took a bite of my sandwich before picking up my book and getting absorbed in the story about the Indian prince cursed to be a tiger. |

After a few minutes I looked up fom my food. Across the cafeteria I saw Sam alone. With a grin, I moved and sat next to her. "Hey. Whatcha reading?" I asked her with a smile as I sat down.

I jumped slightly when a voice startled me from my reading. "Tiger's Curse." I said when I looked up and realized it was Lukas. I smiled lightly and set the book down. "Hi." I added.

How was I supposed to answer that? He asked about my parents, being plural. I technically only had my dad. "Um yeah, kinda. I talk to my dad almost every day." I said after the short pause of trying to word it right.
