I shook my head. "No. It's okay." I said honestly. I decided he was honest with me so I should be honest with him. "My mom's uh.. in jail..." I whispered quietly. It was hard to admit and it was honestly an embarrassment.

I shrugged. "Sometimes, but I was used to it and my dad's a good guy." I said. "My mom wasn't a good person so I wouldn't have wanted her in my life anyway." I admitted.
