Harley
I put a finger to my lips to signal to be quiet and stepped a bit lighter. I walked over to where Romeo was lazily basking in the sun. I let go of Carson's hand and slowly walked over to where Romeo was laying. I kneeled down next to him and stroked his neck. He opened his eyes and lifted his head slightly but saw no threat in me. I sat down and leaned up against his side. Romeo eyed me before gently resting his head by me. "This, is my escape." I said softly to Carson.

I smiled and kneeled down and gently patted him. "He's amazing." I said. "It must be cool to have a pet. Their like a friend that will always love you."

I shrugged. "He's much more then a pet to me. He's kinda my life." I laughed softly at how foolish it sounded. "Horses are a lot more like people then you would think." I said softly, playing with Romeo's mane.

"How so?" I asked. I picked up a piece of grass and put it on my palm for Romeo to eat. His lips tickled my hand and I laughed.

I giggled. "You can put all your trust in them and you think that they'll never break it but then they do something and really hurt you, ruining all the trust that was there." I said rubbing my neck. "But slowly the trust is gained back and as you learn more about them you can either like them more and work better with them or maybe you don't." I rubbed Romeo's hug. "And every horse needs love and guidance." I said. I looked up at Carson, wondering if I had went to deep into the thoughts and emotions of Harley.

I smiled. "That makes since." I said. I leaned closer to her. "You can be sensitive sometimes, but you aren't afraid. I like that." I leaned even closer and kissed her.

I kissed him back. Then Romeo snorted. I pulled back with a laugh. "Are you jealous boy?"

"Oh, I see. You have another man in your life." I gave her a fake glare. "You've been cheating on me with THIS guy?! Really, Harley?!" I tried not to laugh, but it was hard.

"Whatever. Were through." I joked. I thought about what I said. Had we ever really been together? Did I have to ask her to be my girlfriend or something. Dating was so complicated.

I frowned jokingly. "What ever." I rolled my eyes. I climbed onto Romeo's back and nudged his sides. He looked at me then slowly got up. I looked down at Carson.
