Carson "Close your eyes. I'm going to show you a surprise." I made sure her eyes were covered, then brought her to my secret spot. It was a fifteen minute walk, but worth it. We walked behind my dorm and into a woody area. At the end was a big opening, with a tree stump, smooth, grassy floor, wild flowers everywhere, and a small stream down the middle leading to a big lake a mile or so over. I found it my first day here when I was lonely. I always worked best outside, not stuck in a stuffy room. "Ok, open them." I said, breathless.

Harley It was hard to keep my eyes closed and not think that he was going to walk me into a wall. When he told me to open my eyes I dropped his hand and brought my hands to my face. "Its beautiful." I said, my breath taken away.

Carson "Yup. I found it my first day here." I said proudly. "It took some cleaning up to do, but it's perfect now. You can do basically whatever you want here, cause you know no one is looking."

Harley "Oh Darlin', its cuter then a sack full o' puppies. Its almost a spittin' image of a place back home." I started to blush right away when I realized I had let a lot of southern slang slip out. "Oops." I said softly, burning red.

Carson After processing what she just said, i bursted out laughing. "That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard."

Harley I covered my face. "This place is adorable. It resembles a place back home in Georgia." I said fixing my mistake. "Sorry."

Carson "Dont say sorry." I smiled. "It was adorable- or as darling as puppies- or whatever." I laughed

Harley I giggled and shook my head. "Darlin' is you." I smiled. "The people in the south use a lot of slang. Normally I get scolded if I use it. My parents always believed in proper grammar but sometimes it slips out."

Carson "Well I like it." I said with a smile. "But it's not darlin' and neither am I. This is my man cave." I said, pretending to be serious.

Harley I laughed. "Oh hush." I smirked over at him. I laid out on the grass and looked up at the sky. I let out a soft sigh. "It would be a lot more like Georgia if it were 20 degrees warmer."

Carson "it's the exact opposite of L.A. That's why I like it so much, I think." I said softly. I laid next to her and lpoked up. "I love coming and taking pictures." I admitted.

Harley "You would like Georgia. If you like peaceful and neighbors at the closest 5 miles away." I smiled over at him from my spot on the ground.

Carson "That sounds so nice." I said, closing my eyes and imagining it. "I always wanted to live in the country. Its not that I hate the city, I just want a change."

Harley I nodded simply but said nothing. "butterfly." I commented softly, pointing up at one of the clouds.

Carson "Cool." I said. I watched it for a few seconds then looked out. A small figure in the distance caught my eye. "See that deer? Don't move." I said, watching it amble in the woods.
