L y n d s e y I walked into the barn, hearing a familiar stomps and whinnies. I smiled softly as I saw Rowan's bay head stick out of his stall, his forelock over one I eye. I rubbed his nose which he decided was permission to blow it all over my tee shirt and dark brown breeches. "Thanks, Rowan. Love you too," I said softly, rolling my eyes.

Kacie www.polyvore.com/cross_country_nicole/set?id=34119894I walked fastly to Banners stall, dodging people and horses. A horse blew strait up snot all over a girl. I realized that her horse was just across the isle from Banner's stall. "Off, that's gonna leave a stain." I said after she muttered something I didn't understand to her horse. I put on Banner's leather halter with his show name 'ONE BLYTHE SURPRISE' on a golden name plate. I weaved a chain around the nose band, and clipped it to the opposite ringed side that I put the leather lead line through.

I ignored the girl, partially because she was wrong and partially because I wasn't exactly in a social mood. But was I ever, really? I stood where I was, rubbing Rowan's nose, as my facial expression fell. My life was in the gutter right now.

I lead banner out of his stall and tied him up on his bars.

I started doing his hooves, which took a LOT of time, before I went and got my butet, saddle, royal purple saddle pad, and neon colored zebra leg wraps, and my girth-I started tacking him up.

I curried him first then did short stories over his body with the stiff brush before using it to brush out his mane and tail to avoid pulling his hair out. I finished with the soft brush and cleaning out his hooves. I smoothes my saddle pad and saddle on his back and pulled his halter off, a lead rope loosely over his neck while a took a dampish cloth over his face before slipping his bridle on.

After I put on his saddle pad, and bell boots, I stopped and rubbed his cheek, and talked to him for at least two minutes, when I finally stopped, the other girl was putting on her horses bridle. Quickly I swung the saddle onto Banner's back, and tightened the girth. "Good boy." I whispered as I slipped the halter off of his nose, I buckled it back on his neck, and slipped the slow twist bit into his mouth, I put buckled his throat latch, and both of the buckles under his chin, I took off the halter, and then I put his chest collar on. I stepped back and looked Banner up and down. "Um, excuse me, but do you know where my horse went?" I asked Banner, his ears shot forward, and he bobbed his head. "Good, Which direction?" I asked. Baner flung his head to the left, "Thank you, Hansom sir!" I caleld to his and turned my body left, I walked two steps and looked back, Banner had his head bent over his stall door, and he was nuzzling his hay net, I walked back. "Banner! There you are!" I said. Banner put his ears back, put his head down, and snorted. I laughed. "Caught, you."I smiled and lead him to the arena.

I rolled my eyes at the girls weird conversation with her horse. I led Rowan past the dork and went to the outdoor arena for some fresh air. I swung into the saddle and tapped Rowan into a walk.

I smirked as the girl pasted me, then I slowly let Banner's stirrups down, I lead him to the mounting block, and swung into the saddle. I clicked to Banner, and the huge paint walked freely at my loose rein.

After a few laps at a walk, I squeezed Rowans sides and he trotted foreword. I see saws lightly with my reins and he set his head gracefully.

Banner trotted a few steps, suddenly eager to go as fast/faster than the other horse. I tightened my reins a bit and held him back a lap before letting him trot.

I let Rowan move into a smooth, collected canter. We lapped the arena before crossing through the center. I shifted my weight in the center and he switched leads before continuing in the other direction.
