The other bay past us at the canter, going the other direction. I rolled my eyes at the riders recklessness, and Banner reared absently, confused on which way to go. I softly whistled to him, and he pointed his ears forward as I moved him at a walk to the center of the arena. "Good boy." I said before collecting him a bit, and letting him trot in the direction the other horse was going, I sat the trot and moved back to the center of the arena, and did circles.

I rolled my eyes when the other horse reared. Please learn how to control your horse, I thought.

I continued to do circles, and worked Banner's but until he pointed an ear back to me, telling me that he was listening to me. I let him walk, and lead him to the rail, on the other side of the arena as the other rider. I told Banner to canter, rubbing my heel on his sides and kissing. Banner cantered from walk, and I moved m hips to his gate, which was smooth, but lengthy.

I extended his gait making a few more laps.

Banner-being the 'good boy' he sometimes was- continued to canter, even though he was looking around. I nudged him a bit, and Banner quickened his pace, and put his attention back in front of him.

I finally slowed Rowan back to a walk. I kept him collect for a few feet before letting him walk freely.

I kept Banner at a canter, thinking of what my old trainer would do. I waited two more laps before bringing him back to a trot and posting evenly.

I lapped the arena a few times at a walk before reversing and trotting, sitting soundly.

I pursed my lips as the girl reversed and trotted at us. Once is a mistake, twice is rude, three times is where you say something about it. I thought and gritted my teeth. I slightly pulled on Banners reins, and Banner transitioned to a walk, I halted Banner, and brought the heel that was on the wall back, I made Banner turn on his haunches, my focus slowly changing. I let Banner walk forward agaon, this time going the same direction as the other rider.

I lightly brushed Rowan's sides and he moved into a easy, collected canter, passing the other rider.

Kacie
I made Banner walk, and the huge horse obeyed, even when the rider passed us. "Good boy." I said. I kissed to Banner, and tapped his outside barrel. Banner moved into a canter easily, though he was on the wrong lead. I could tell we wasn't paying attention. The other horse was getting his goat. I whistled to him, and Banner trotted a little fast. "Aat." I said slowing him to a walk. "Canter." I said after gathering him. Banner cantered on the right lead, his head down.

I heard the girl keep talking to her horse, giving him voice commands. I rolled my eyes and gently pulled Rowan's reins to bring him back to a trot. We cut across the middle of the area and continued.

I made Banner canter as long as I thought was healthy for him, doing some exercises in the saddle, (ex: Two point for two laps, dropping & regaining my stirrups,) and finally I dropped my reins and put my hands fully out, without srirrups, I used leg aids to move him around the arena, and then I let him gallop easily, my hands still out, I was in fully control of his still.....maybe I should be a trick rider......I laughed at the thought silently.

The looked like a freaking hillbilly ridding with her arms out. I pulled Rowan to a collected walk and let him move gracefully around the arena. She let her horse gallop. Shocker. I rolled my eyes, angrily. She was a yahoo! She didn't even know what class was, I was sure. She galloped by. Reckless! "Watch it!" I snapped as she ran by in a cloud of dust.

I heard her yell behind me and I made Banner walk with my legs, before putting my hands on my hips. "Honestly?" I asked. "You have GOT to be kidding me."
