"I know." I said, facing him and giving him a long kiss. Just then, my phone rang and inturrupted us. I gave him an apologetic smile and answered it. "Sage, it's your mother." The line on the other side said. "Oh. Hi, mom. What's going on?" I asked, sitting down. "Well, my boyfriend has to come to New York on business, and I'm going to go with." She said. I rolled my eyes. "Yeah? When are you coming?" I asked. "Tomorrow. I thought we could have dinner at your place." She said. I didn't know what to say, but I didn't really have a choice. "Ok, mom. See you tomorrow." I said before hanging up with a big sigh.
