She pouted and I chuckled. A few minutes later, the last two came down and I gave them their pancakes. "Ok, now mom will tell you."

I sat down at the table with them and looked at them all staring at me. "So people from the olympics called me and asked me to announce at the olympics this year in Rio." I explained.

Ayla squealed, grinned and bounced up and down. Out of all the kids, she was the biggest gymnastics fan. "Can I go too mom? Please???" She begged.

I looked at Carson then back to Ayla. "I don't think so sweetie. It would be to much work for daddy and I to both get work off and keep track of all you kids. Especially because I would be busy a lot and its a lot to ask your dad to watch all five of you." I said. "I'd be good." She said with a pout. "I know you would sweetie but it would still be really hard."

I still wanted to find a way for us all to go for at least a few days, but I didn't want to give them false hope either. "Hey, well of course watch on TV. Even if it's at midnight." I teased. At least that put a smile on her face.

I laughed lightly. "I can't believe your dad is going to let you stay up that late." I said. The boys finished eating first. "Can we go play catch now?" They asked. "Go wash your hands then you and dad can go outside."

I cleaned up the rest of the dishes then brought the rest of the kids outside to play. "Now don't get in the way of your brothers unless you're going to join in." I said. "We all know dad has a good arm and I don't need any black eyes." I added jokingly.

We played for an hour or so then I let them play alone for a minute so I could make a phone call to my boss. I asked him if they needed anyone to cover stories in Rio. Since Harley's room was taken care of, they could save a lot of money and not have to get me a separate room. Well this convinced him, and he said that there was a week where they needed to write about a couple track and field events. Usually those weren't at the same time as gymnastics, so it would work perfectly. I accepted then went in to tell Harley. I gave her a hug and a long kiss. "We're going to Rio." I said happily.
