The kids and Carson were still asleep, and I was sitting on the couch watching TV and doing a few things on my laptop. I was surprised when the phone started to ring, but quickly answered it so it wouldn't wake anyone up. "Hello?" I answered curiously. "Oh, Hello... Really?... Yes, um, I will get back to you shortly.... Thank you." I hung up and sat still for a second, surprised at the phone call. Then I jumped up and ran upstairs to Carson. "Carson!" I squealed when I got into the bedroom and shook him excitedly. |

In less than a second, I went from being fast asleep to jolted awake. I sat up. "What's wrong? Are the kids ok?" I asked, suddenly wide awake.

I hesitated. "I don't know, Harley... It would be hard with 5 kids, not to mention expensive. Plus I have to work." I said. Lately, I've been writing for the sports column of the paper. "Maybe you could bring Brynn and Ayla. They would love that."
