I smiled. "I would love for you guys to visit." I said happily, bouncing Derek. Just then Mason came out from the kitchen. "Dinner's ready." He said.

I smiled. "Great. I'm just going to put them down quick." I said. They seemed tired. Mason's mom followed me upstairs and we laid them in the nursery before going back down. I sat down next to Mason. "This looks great. Thanks." I said to him and his dad.

"Well we tried our best." I said with a chuckle. My mom spoke up. "Tomorrow night your dad and I will watch the babies and you two go out for a nice dinner together." She more told then suggested.

I opened my mouth to say that it wasn't necessary, but then I got scared. I didn't like saying no to his mom. Instead I smiled softly. "That would be nice. Thanks." I said, even though I was filled with anxiety. I knew I could trust his parents, but we had never left the babies since they were born. "I'll write down what time they eat and sleep and stuff later." I said.

My dad asked about work and we chatted for a little while until one of the babies started to cry. "I'll go check on them." I said excusing myself.

I smiled. "I'm glad you're parents got to come." I said softly, kissing his cheek. "They get to see you be the best daddy ever." Holland whimpered in her crib, wanting attention. "Ohh don't be like that." I said softly, picking her up. I kissed her nose and smiled.
