My eyes widened. "Wow. You're so important." The elevator was almost to the ground floor so I gave him a kiss. "I'll see you later."

The elevator dinged and the doors opened. I said goodbye with a smile then went back. I had a couple publicity things to go to. Really, I was just waiting to hear back about a movie and it was making my anxious, so I liked having all these things to distract me. Once I was done, I went back to the apartment and cleaned, to keep busy.

I was just finishing up with the living room when Connor came in. "Hey." I said happily. I took the food and put it in the microwave to heat it up. "How was the rest of your day?"

I laughed and went to the kitchen, grabbing us both a beer. "Oh you'll be fine." I teased. "So when do you have to go to Germany next?" I asked, switching the topic to him and taking a long drink.
