I nodded. "It looks great." I said. I made sure she got enough food then got some for myself. When Cole and Becca were busy with Penny, I turned to Ro. "If it makes a difference, I'm thankful for you too." I smiled softly and took a bite.

I try to do this for the kids every year then on thanksgiving my dad usually comes over and we have dinner together." I said.

Soon we finished eating, and all of the kids started to leave. Becca, Penny, and Cole had to leave a little early because Beccas parents were coming into town, but I stuck around to help clean up. "What do you want me to do?" I asked.
