I nodded. "Well this is the kitchen, obviously." I said. We were sitting behind a counter and on the other side was nice, stainless steel appliances. The living room and dining room is right here." I said. There was no door, but an archway that connected them. There were large windows which let in natural light, exposed brick on one wall, gorgeous hardwood floors, and a big fire place. "Through these doors is the office." I opened the double doors that lead to a room with a big desk, couch, and book shelves. Next we went up the spiral staircase. "Up here is our rooms and a guest room. There's a bathroom connected to each one, and a bathroom downstairs." I said. "Do you like it?"

"It's amazing Sage." I said. "It's Nice." Alice mumbled and went into her room, shutting the door." I sighed.

I nodded. "I understand. I'll try." I said. I admit, I was nervous. I went up and gently knocked on the door before going in. I sat on the chair by her bed. "Hey, I know everything sucks and you don't want to be here now and you wouldn't want anything more than to be home with your dad. But is there anything I can do here to make you feel more at home?" I asked softly.
