I could see he was mad, so I sat in silence. Finally we got to the airport, and I rented us a car so we could get to his dad's place. I hesitated. "Just so you know, I wasn't out of town this weekend... I came here." I said softly when we pulled into the driveway, looking at my hands.

I looked at her and shook my head before getting out of the car. The door was left unlocked so I walked in. "Dad!?" I called. "My sister came running around the corner. "Connor.. What are you doing her?"

My sister nodded. "He's in the bedroom." She said. I walked past her and found my dad laying in bed. "Dad... how could you keep this from me..." I whispered, falling into a chair next to his bed.

I didn't want to bother them, knowing they deserved alone time. I went back to the kitchen and did the dishes instead.

I remembered that he usually ate at this time, so I quick made him some soup. Quietly I brought it into his room and put it on his night stand.

I bit my lip. "I'm sorry. I never would ever want to get in between you too and hurt your relationship." I said softly. Slowly, I went back out to do the dishes. It was a long night; I did dishes, cleaned, and did laundry. When I got the mail, I couldn't help but notice all the bills. I knew they were having trouble affording it, after paying for all the medical expenses. After thinking for a bit, I decided it would be best to just pay them myself and never tell them about it. Once I did that, I hid the letters in my bag and started to make a spot for myself on the couch to sleep.

I finally walked out after talking with my dad for a while. After talking and him explaining things I forgave him, but I also explained that I wasn't leaving and I was going to be here for him until the end. Now I had to talk to Sage. I sighed looking at her on the couch. "Come on, come in my room." I said.
