Photographers clicked pictures of me as I walked to Connors house, but I ignored them. I had agreed to meet with him once I got in town from being gone the whole weekend. I had told him I had to do some press stuff but I lied. Instead, I drove all the way to Connors house to visit Alice and his dad. I was worried about them both. His dad was getting sicker by the minute, and Alice was all alone to take care of him. I didn't know how I was going to keep this from Connor. I snapped out of it as I reached Connors apartment and knocked on the door.

I was waiting at the door as soon as I saw all the paparazzi outside. As soon as Sage got to the door, I opened it and gently pulled her inside then shut the door behind us. "Well somebody is popular today." I teased.

I swallowed hard and fought back the tears. "Your dad is sick...." I whispered. "He told me not to tell you. Im sorry I didn't say anything earlier."
