Campbell
This week had been pretty busy for me, but the opposite for Mason. I had new clients I was working with and even when I wasn't working, I was brainstorming new ideas for projects. On the other hand, Mason was still at home recovering from his recent gun shot wound. Next week he would go back to easy, safe stuff and then ease into emergency calls. It had been nice having him home- we had gotten closer and spent more time together. I got off of work early so I stopped by a bakery and got us some treats before heading home. "Hello?" I called out after I opened the door, putting the food on the table.

"In here." I called out to Campbell from the living room. I was sitting with my laptop doing some work. I couldn't help myself. I had gotten so bored and I wanted to do something. I shut the laptop hoping Campbell wouldn't catch me. I knew she would tell me I should just be relaxing.

I walked into the living room and saw him with his laptop, looking guilty. "Hey, what did I say about doing work? They're covering for you at the station." I took his laptop and put it as high as I could out of reach. It still hurt his side to stretch his arms to high. "Go back to bed and take a nap. I have a surprise for you."

I sighed. "Fine. At least go lay in bed, and I'll bring you your surprise." I said. I touched my nose to his, but didn't kiss him. "Please? I know you'll like it." I smiled softly, flirting a bit to get him to do it.

I smiled and got the treats I bought and brought them upstairs. "Ok, so I have a double chocolate cookie or a lemon cupcake. Which do you want?" I asked.

"Of course." I teased, breaking each in half. I put his on a plate and handed it to him. "Do you think you can unzip this?" I asked, turning around so he could reach the zipper of my dress.

"Of course." I set the plate down and sat up. I slowly unzipped the dress and gently kissed the back of her neck. She wasn't aloud to be the only one to flirt.

I closed my eyes, enjoying it. Then, as much as I didn't want to, turned around. "No. None of that until you get better." I teased lightly. I slipped off my dress and went to my closet. "So what did you do today?" I asked, slipping on a hoodie.

I chuckled softly. "I swear, you're more worried about dying of boredom than gun shots." I teased, sitting down. "How about we go to a movie tonight? That's relaxing, but you'll get to get out of the house."
