I bit my lip hard. He looked fine without me, while I felt lost and broken inside. "Um you have some of my school work." I whispered.

I nodded. "Yeah it's in the other room." I stepped out of the way. "You can come in. It's freezing out." I said. I walked back into the other room and found her stuff.

"Ok. Well.... Bye." I said softly. As I was turning around, I all of a sudden got dizzy. I think that's because I hadn't been eating or drinking enough lately. I steadied myself by putting my hand on the wall but didn't stop because I didn't want him to think I needed help.

I opened my mouth to say something but I felt my knees wobble again, falling to the ground and passing out. What must have been a few seconds later, I opened my eyes to see Connor laying over me.

"Sage..." I let out a deep breath. "Thank goodness." Before she could say anything, I picked her up and carried her over to the couch. Then I went to get her a glass of water. "What happened?" I asked.
