LucasAs I stepped into busy Central Park, a rush of adrenaline coursed through me. The last few weeks had been pretty boring; paperwork, research, strategizing. Working undercover for the FBI. Today was my first day back on the field, and my mission was a tough one. An extremely wealthy man in New York had been suspected of bringing illegal drugs and weapons into the US, and it was my job to prove him guilty and take him down. It seems easy enough, but it will be anything but. This man has the best security money can buy, and I'm sure is very good at keeping secrets. The only way to figure out the truth would be to get on the inside, become close to his family so I can do research without suspicion. So that was my plan, and my way of getting there was through his daughter. She was my age, lived in New York, and most importantly single. Knowing rich girls, getting her to trust me and like me would be a piece of cake. After finding out everything I could about her and her family, I knew I had to get to the real work. I was pretty confident in my secret identity, too: the made-up history, job, and of course name. I snapped back into reality when a runner yelled at me to get out of the way. I had to be on my a game. Scanning the crowds, I looked for my girl. I knew she spent a lot of her lunch breaks in the park and had to be here somewhere.

ooc: the awkward moment when I was planning on using Emily Bett Rickards.... now I have too!! Rowan Hayes www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=180786992I ordered a sandwich at one of my favorite shops in the city. It was a local place and I liked supporting the smaller companies. After getting the sandwich, I found my way over to an empty park bench to eat. I tore off a small piece of bread and tossed it to a few birds that were hopping around near by. I smiled as I watched them. I checked my phone to be sure my dad hadn't called me before digging in. The warm sun cut through the brisk fall air and warmed my face. It was really a perfect day and I was dreading having to go back to work helping my dad. ooc: basically I'm making her the complete opposite of her dad and most stereotypical rich girls... maybe that's why at first it's harder for him to get with her cuz he expects her to be snobby... idk

Ooc yes haha I'm so happy you chose her!! and yeah that's how I wanted her to act! Lucas I was walking around with my hands in my pocket when I saw her on a park bench. Smiling softly, I walked up to the bench. "Is it ok if I sit here?" I asked.

Rowan I smiled up at the very handsome man standing in front of me. "Sure." I said lightly and moved over so he could sit down. Just then my phone buzzed. I took it out and saw that it was my dad. I rolled my eyes subtly and texted him back. "Oh I'm Rowan by the way." I said, remembering the man next to me. I held out my hand. "You can call me Rowan or Ro." I said.

Lucas "Finn." I said, shaking her hand. Lie number one. If she figured out who I was, the entire mission would be ruined. I gestured to her sandwich. "Where's the best place to go for lunch? I'm new to town."

Rowan "A little shop called S'WICH. It's a little more expensive but it's worth it for the quality of the food." I told him.

Lucas I nodded. "I'll have to try it out." I said with a smile. "So do you work around here?"

Rowan "Um yes. Well.. Kind of. I have a part time job working for my dad, but I also do some modeling." I said with a shrug. I suppose I could have told him about my non-profit organization, but he was a stranger and all he asked about was work.

Lucas Of course I already knew all that, but I pretended to be interested. "That sounds cool. I just work at a gym a few blocks away." I said. Technically, that was true. I was working a couple days a week just to keep up my fake identity.

Rowan "Now? So many." I said with a light laugh. "He does a lot with furniture. Specifically what goes inside the furniture. He designs special types of foam for specific types of furniture basically." I said with a shrug. "Basically if you've sat on anything with a cushion it probably has something to do with my dad." i told him. "It's all a bit boring to me."

Lucas I nodded. Inside of furniture would be the perfect way to hide drugs and transport them. "If its so boring, why do you work for him?" I asked. I paused for a second. "Sorry, that's kind of a personal question for just meeting."
