I shrugged. "It's really not that big of a deal... I saw it coming." I said, with a sigh. "My relationship with my parents is nothing like yours. They didn't really raise me; my managers did that." I explained. "We never really got super close, but I guess I'd consider them my friends." I said.

I bit my lip, thinking about his dad's cancer. It was so hard not to tell him, but this is when my acting skills come into use. "Yeah, he's a really nice guy." I said with a smile, squeezing his hand. I looked back to the bartender. "Can I have another drink?" I asked.

I grinned. "I'm so excited." I said, bouncing in my seat. I babbled all the way home. Once we arrived, I went right into the kitchen and cut myself a big slice. "Do you want some?" I asked.
