"Campbell you are... well maybe not cooking, but that's why I'm here." I pulled her closer. "You have always been responsible with your job and you just saved a dog's life, and before the accident you were one of the perkiest people I know." I said.

I huffed lightly. "I don't even know why were talking about this. It's impossible anyways." I said. Thinking about it just made me upset, so I got up and went into the bedroom, where my eyes filled with tears.

I sighed and opened the door, knowing he would never leave. I wanted to say something, but I had no idea what. Finally, hunter came up and gently sniffed me. For some reason, my eyes filled with tears and I picked him up.

I sat down in front of the door and waited with my head on my hands. I just wanted to help her but I couldn't do anything until she let me.

I held Hunter close and tears silently fell on my cheeks. Once I composed myself, I walked back out to Mason. "I'm sorry." I said softly, looking at the floor.

I got up and slowly wrapped my arms around her. "Oh Campbell.." I whispered holding her tight. "I just want to see you smile again.
