"Of course." I quickly put the dishes in the sink then picked her up while getting things ready to leave.

I got the boys dressed and ready to got to Bentley's house then checked on the girls to be sure they were ready to go. Once everyone was herded downstairs I grabbed the list of school supplies that the girls needed. "Alright. Is everyone ready to go?" I asked.

"Yup." I put the kids in their car seats and looked at the list before driving. "That's a long list." I teased.

"I think we'll need two cars just to fit all this stuff." I joked. We dropped the boys and Evelyn off then started driving into town. "Let's stop by the school, so you can get an application." I suggested.

I nodded. "Okay." A few minutes later we pulled up to the school. I checked myself in the mirror. "Do I look okay?" I asked.

I took a deep breath and went into the school. Someone sat at the front desk and I walked over. "Hi. My name is.." I got cut off by the person behind the desk. "Harley Harris.. oh.. Harley King.." I nodded. "Yes. Well, I saw that the school was looking for a new science teacher and I was hoping to apply for the job." I said. The man behind the desk gave me an odd look. "You teach?" He asked. I nodded. "Yes I teach. I have a Masters degree in teaching and education and a minor in biology." I told him as politely as possible. I didnt like when people underestimated me. "I was really hoping to pick up an application today?" I asked. The man looked at me for another moment before nodding and handing over a piece of paper. "Of course you'll need references." He said. I smiled lightly. "I have plenty. I did teach before this." I said looking at him. "Thank you for this." I said holding up the application. I'll bring it back in a few days." I said and headed back out.

"I only talked to the man at the front desk. He knew who I was but didn't seem to think I knew how to teach." I said with a shrug. "It's okay. I'll prove him wrong."
