I sat in the back of the classroom staring blankly at the board as Mrs.Utz did example problems. I did NOT understand today's lesson. I had never been good at math but today was especially hard. She asked the class to copy and answer the problem she just put on the board. I copied it and tried to solve it but instead ended up staring at the problem. "Miss Winters what was your answer?" She asked snapping me out of it. "Ummm 2.4y over x?" I said stupidly seeing the last thing I had written. Apparently it was VERY wrong because a few kids snickered and she turned away saying something like "uh no but....close? No no here is the answer." I blushed and looked down away from a few stares.
