BLAIR  This was my first class, and I was not ready. Classes were so BORING, and English was the worst. With a sigh, I arrived and sat in the back. Pulling a notebook out of my new backpack, I started doodling, waiting for class to start. |

I found walked in moments before the bell rang. I looked for a seat and found one next to a girl who looked very very bored already. I went and sat down. "Hi I'm Michael." I said boldly as I sat down.

I gave him a bright smile, glad to have met a new person. "I'm Blair. Today's my first day, so sorry if I seem hopelessly confused." I chuckled.

I laughed. "It's ok I'm mostly new too." I told her pulling out my notebook. The teacher went on talking about the books we would read this year.

She went on talking about the semester for a while, then we got done early. I turned to him with a smile. "So what's your favorite book?" I asked.

I was glad she asked me the question. I liked when I didn't have to force a conversation. "Hmmm" I thought. "I really liked to kill a mockingbird." I answered honestly.

"Oh I love that one!" I said. "I'm a sucker for romance books. I love Nicholas Sparks." I admitted. "But my favorite book is probably The Great Gatsby."
