Roomie?

I dragged the last of my stuff into my room and began to unpack my wardrobe. I guess you could say I was a fan of clothes by the looks of my crammed closet once I was done hanging and folding everything. I then began hanging my favorite photos on the walls. All where photos I had taken, a clear reflection of my love for the camera. I then placed a small picture of me on Bug bareback with a halter and lead rope in one of the fields at the Wyoming ranch. His mane was long due to our hiatus from showing and looked more like a cow pony than a show jumper. Now though he was trimmed up and we were both ready to get back in the ring. Right as I began to make my bed with my tiffany blue sheets the door opened.

Samantha
In my royal blue sweater, dark skinny jeans and tan cuffed knee high boots, I dragged my suitcase into my dorm room. I looked up and surprised myself when I saw the other girl already in there. "Oh. Hi." I smiled brightly. "You must be my roommate. I'm Samantha Abilene, but I like Sam." I said introducing myself as I rolled my suitcase the rest of the way in.

I grinned at the seemingly sweet girl. I'd had a difficult time making friends at my old school so I hoped the case wouldn't be the same here. "Hey! Yep I am. I'm Berkley, but you can call me B if you want I don't really mind." I set down my first blanket over the bed before turning to the girl. "So are you new too?"

[Tori]

Sam
I nodded. "First day." I said. I opened my first suitcase and began to unpack my clothes and put them in the closet.

Berkley

I nodded in agreement as I pulled out my comforter, a gold and Tiffany blue stripe. I had a slight obsession with the color combo. "Me too! So where are you from?" I asked.

[Tori]

Sam
"Kentucky. Born and raised." I laughed lightly. I unpacked my shoes then went to make my bed.

Berkley

I smiled recognizing the accent. "That's awesome! I love showing there," I replied before adding. "I'm from North Carolina originally."

[Tori]

Sam
I nodded. "Cool! You ride? So do I." i said.

[-B-]

Berkley

"Oh yeah!" I said glancing at the photo of Bug on my dresser. "Do you do hunters jumpers or eq?" I asked.

[Tori]

Sam
"Oh um.. I event. Dressage, cross country, and show jumping." I told her. "You?"

[-B-]

Berkley

I nodded, "You event? That's awesome! I always wanted to try it but my mother, she was my trainer, wouldn't ever let me," I said with a grin. "I used to do Equitation and Hunters but A little over a year ago I got sick of it and started doing the jumpers."

[Tori]

Sam
I nodded. "That's cool at least you still get to jump." I smiled and laid out my sheets.

Berkley

"Yes definitely. I love jumping. What's your favorite event?" I asked politely as I put my final throw pillows on my bed and then my pillow pet that looked just like Bug.

[Tori]

Sam
"Cross country definitely. The rush or adrenaline. It's great." I smiled.

Berkley

"I bet. I love a good adrenaline rush. I've always wanted to try cross country," I said with a grin. "Do you have a horse?"
