A sigh escpaed me, the drivers had yet to bring Duke to Canterwood yet, and now I was sitting around with nothing to do when I could be riding. Pushing open the door, I walked inside, letting my designer heels click across the floor as the door swung shut behind me. Glancing around, I spotted an empty table, pulling my poppy coach bag closer to me now, I traveled across the room now, taking each step with much thought as I ran a hand through my blonde locks before sliding into the seat now. Digging around in my purse, I pulled out my Sidekick now, heaving a slight sigh before flipping it open to notice a new message from my brother:
Luke: Trailer called, they're running late with Duke, he may not get there until later tonight.
A huge and rather exasperated sigh could not help but to escape me now. Figures. And here I thought my parents had told me that they hired the best horse trailers that the world had to offer. Clearly not if they were running late and could not deliever me my horse in a proper fashion. Either way, when they got here, they were not going to leave unscathed.

I walked into the Sweet Shoppe and went up to Don, the regular waitor. He was 16 and HOT. I smiled at him. "One Mocha Frappe." I said, flipping my hair over my shoulder.

I glanced up from my sidekick as the door swung open again and I looked over to see a girl walking in, and going up to the hot waiter. I couldn't help but to roll my eyes at her hair flip, clearly trying to flirt with the guy. I guess that was how Canterwood girls did it here.

I still watched that girl flirt with the cute waiter for a moment, studying her and my eyes followed her as she walked over towards an empty table now. I didn't understand why he thought she was cute, after all, she had that chunk of white in her hair and the tats. I had some temptation to go over and ask her about it when somebody else came over now. Glancing up, I saw another girl standing right in front of me saying hi. I merely stared at her for a moment, looked her over before finally replying, "Hi."

She looked over me as well, clearly trying to size me up before introducing herself shortly. It took all the power in my body to not roll my eyes, "Noelle Beaumont," I replied back stiffly, flicking my side open and shut now, "I'm new."

I got up and threw away my Frappe. "Ew." I wrinkled my nose. It had, like, spoiled milk in it or something! I started to walk out, but as I left I bumped a table and knocked a girls bag over. "Oops." I said boredly, not even caring.

My lips twisted for a moment, I was about to say something when that other girl from the beginning just bumped into the table, causing my coach bag to fall over now, spilling it's contents. I glared at her, "Hey, watch it," I snapped as I grabbed my bag and started to throw everything back in. I felt like I was being stared down by a pack of hyenas or something like that. Either way, it was best to put my guard up now.

"You watch it." I snapped back. I bent down to her low level. "If you're going to survive here, pick smaller battles. Where you might actually win." With that, I 'accidentily' stepped on her back and kicked some of it's remaints as I left
