I walked into the Sweet Shoppe wearing fawn breaches, a black tee that had the ford logo on it, and paddock boots. I had just got done riding Flash'n, and was in the mood for a cup cake, or something. I walked up to the counter. "Welcome to the-" I cut the girl at the counter off "Cut it, you don't need to welcome me." I said said my southern accent growing strong. "I'm Mel. Can I have a chocolate cupcake, the one with the pink icing. And...." I looked for a drink. "An iced tea?" I sorta-asked. "Sure, that will be...." She said as she rang up the total "$4 even." I handed her a five dolor bill. "keep the change." I said standing to the side as she took someone else order. "Mel!?" I heard someone yell behind me. "Thanks." I said grabbing my order from a handsome guy around my age.
He had green eyes and mess beach blond hair. He was tan, and his hands looked ruff, like he had been working on a farm. "Thanks." I said again nervously walking away. I sat in a empty booth in the corner and took a sip of the cold ice tea. I took the rapping of the cupcake and started eating the bottom.

I got my milkshake, and saw someone i didnt know. "Hi."

"Hey, I'm Mel." I said putting down the cute cupcake, "Sorry." I said chewing and cupping my hand over my mouth

"Pretty name." I said, my southern accent,not normally light

"Sit, sit." I said patting other end of the table

I smiled and sat. "What's your name?"

"I'm Mel." I said southern accent "Sorry 'bout the accent." I said

I raised my eyebrows.

"So, what's your name?" I asked trying to calm down m accent..... I think it worked.....

"It's Alana."

"Pretty." I said "Alana." I repeated.

I blushed embarrassed. "I'm Mel."
