I walked after riding for the third day straight--today was Sunday. I rode before and after school on Monday, for 3 hours Saturday and just off today. My legs were wobbly and sore, my hair a mess in it's ponytail.
"I'll take a mango slushie, please." the barista gave me a 'what?!' look;after all, it was winter. She got it and I paid before sitting.

M i c h a e l I walked into the Sweet Shoppe for the first time. My second day and the only ventures out of my dorm were to the hockey rink to practice a little. I hadnt talked to many people besides some happy go lucky kid that talked to Drake about started a hockey team. He seemed nerdy, not really the hockey type. I wanted to meet some girls. After ordering my drink, a smile crept onto my face as I saw one sitting alone. I walked over to her. "Can I sit?" I asked. |
