I gave her a semi confused look before I realized my defensiveness. "Sorry. Its just my sister had a horse and he was abused. I just...yeah. I feel bad for abused animals," I explained sheepishly. Opps.

He looked confused for whatever reason, but I allowed him to find his thoughts first. When he finally did though, I blinked, "Oh, you should have just said that in the first place," I commented then, "I'm sorry about the horse."
