I was bored and had nothing better to do, so what did I do? I headed to the cafe. Sure, probably not the best way to spend my time, I should probably be working with Thor, since, hey, word on the net was that there was going to be an opening on YENT, but I guess that didn't really matter to me. Grabbing a plate of mac and cheese, I glanced around the cafe now, everybody was with their friends. Mine currently not being here, but I did spot a girl, a cute girl sitting by herself and made my way over, "I'm Blake," I introduce myself now as I sat down, not even bothering to ask if I could have sat there in the first place.

I'm not going to lie, I usually got a more talkative reaction than that, but I had clearly picked a shy girl to sit next to. Didn't surprise me really, that's how it always worked. I flashed her a smile, "Pleasure," I said now as I took a bite into my mac and cheese before swallowing, "Don't worry Lindsey, I don't bite if that's what you're worried about," I commented jokingly now.

I took in the guy's mannerly attitude. I wasn't used to that, especially around here. I smiled a bit more, but my shyness was still probably obvious. My smile widened a bit as his next comment. I could tell he wasn't stuck up like most of the guys Id met. "You can never be too cautious," I joked, my voice still a little soft.

She smiled a bit more this time around, but I could still she she was shying around our conversation. At this point, I honestly thought she really wasn't going to talk to me, but hey, she surprised me in the end. Her comment, not so much, I couldn't blame her for that considering the gossip blog, the cliques, the guys some times, everything. Shrugging slightly, I still smiled at her, "There's too much stuff going on in the world and people out there to be shy of everything," I commented now, "But I know what you mean, Canterwood's...interesting."

I just laughed at her, guess boosting her confidence is a lot harder than it is. Granted, I had just met the girl, it's not like it was my job too. I just shrugged as I took another bite out of my food now, chewing thoughtfully as I finished off my food, "Well, you are your own enemy, I'm not sure how to help you," I replied now as I glanced back over at her, "Do you ride? I feel like that's the only reason people come here, heck, it's the reason why I transferred here."

I'd honestly be lying if I said I was suprised. Horse people overruled Canterwood, whoever would have thought it would be such a priviate school sport, or a sport at all. I can't talk though, after all, I left Wellington Prep to come here, I thought the riding program was superior and well, my parents were angry, and everybody else was probably rolling in their graves, "Huh? Oh, Bolt of Lighting, or well, Thor. He's probably the only golden cremello hanging around here. He's hard to miss," I replied with a grin now.

Her words made me chuckle a little, "Well, you're probably the first person to say that about him. I think he's the devil some times," or at least, Thor's a hotheaded jerk. But then again, we balance each other out nicely in the end, "Who do you ride?" I asked now, assuming she owned a horse, but hey, some times people were just content with using the school horses.
